Cavex ExSense is a desensitizing and dental conditioning gel specially formulated to relieve dentin hypersensitivity and promote remineralization after treatments such as whitening. Its formula combines hydroxyapatite 2% and potassium nitrate 0.1% in an easy-to-apply gel base with a pleasant mint flavor, providing rapid relief and helping to seal dentinal tubules.

Its tube format (50 g / 42 ml) allows controlled application both in the clinic and, under professional recommendation, for home use. It is an ideal complement in post-whitening protocols and in the treatment of sensitivity caused by erosion or dentin exposure.

Main features

  • Content: 50 g (≈42 ml).
  • Active ingredient: Hydroxyapatite 2% + Potassium nitrate (KNO3) 0.1%.
  • Texture: aqueous thixotropic gel, easy to apply and drip-free.
  • Flavor: mint (pleasant patient tolerance).
  • Use: applied in the clinic or recommended for home use under professional supervision.

Advantages and benefits

  • Rapid relief of sensitivity to cold, heat, and mechanical stimuli thanks to the combined effect of physical sealing (hydroxyapatite) and soothing action (potassium nitrate).
  • Promotes remineralization and fills micro-defects and dentinal tubules, improving the integrity of the tooth surface.
  • Easy integration into post-whitening protocols to reduce discomfort and accelerate sensitivity recovery.
  • Non-greasy texture and precise application that facilitates clinical work and home-use recommendation.
  • Improves patient comfort after restorative procedures or treatments with removable orthodontics.

Directions for use

  • Clean and lightly dry the tooth surface before application.
  • Apply a thin, even layer of gel on the sensitized surfaces using a microbrush, spatula, or syringe (according to clinical preference).
  • Typical contact time in the clinic: 5–10 minutes. Then remove the excess and rinse if appropriate.
  • For home use (only if prescribed by the professional): apply a small amount to the indicated areas, leave on for the time specified by the dentist, and rinse. Do not ingest.
  • Repeat as directed by the professional until the desired relief is achieved.
