At Dental Direct, we are aware of the amount of waste generated worldwide and are actively taking steps to reduce plastic use and promote recycling.

For several years now, we have been aware of the amount of plastic discarded daily in dental clinics, and a large part of it cannot even be recycled, so the option of putting it in the recycling bin is not valid either. This has led us to search for solutions together with our suppliers, who were interested from the very beginning. Among these solutions, we have launched a plastic collection program for certain products in our line for subsequent reuse by the manufacturers.

Currently, we handle the collection at no additional cost to the dental clinic. We are aware that not everything can be reused, yet it greatly satisfies us to do our part. Today we collect and reuse the bur boxes from the Dia-Tessin brand as well as the bracket boxes from our Eclipse and Iceberg lines. Many customers already support us and have joined this environmentally friendly policy.

How can you be part of this recycling campaign?

To participate in the plastic collection program, you simply need to save the Eclipse and Iceberg bracket boxes from the Dental World brand, or the bur boxes from the Dia-Tessin brand. We will come to collect them within a timeframe agreed with each customer, depending on the accumulated volume. Additionally, you can benefit from a small discount or a gift simply for being part of this campaign.
